REVEALED in August at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, the beautiful Prototype 9 is Infiniti’s take on a modern day 1940s racer.
The design concept began as a simple sketch and evolved into an after-hours design and engineering project by the Japanese firm’s talented team.
It is powered by an electric motor and finished in bare sheet-metal – a nod to the racing cars of the past.
Prototype 9 has a top speed of 106mph and sprints to 60mph in 5.3 seconds. However, under heavy track use, it only has a 20 mile range.
